About our CNC Milled Putters
Because our 3d printed putter production capacity is limited, and to get our putters into more of our clients’ hands, we’ve started making CNC milled putters as well. But after working and experimenting so long and hard to develop the techniques necessary to make 3d printed putters a reality (and with better physical properties than comparable milled putters), we didn’t want to just make the same CNC milled putters that everyone else makes. We wanted to bring some of the techniques we developed making 3d printed putters to the CNC milled putter space to make better and more stylish CNC milled putters. Things like titanium inserts and tungsten weights to boost MOI and properly position the center of mass of the putter. Incorporating these features only adds to the time and difficulty of making these putters, but making a superior product isn’t about finding shortcuts - it’s about finding ways to make improvements.
We currently make just one shape in a CNC milled version - the Robertson - our best selling shape. Milled from 303 stainless steel. 3 loft / 70 lie with a standard plumber’s neck. This first milled Robertson version also incorporates a face insert; clients can choose from titanium, steel, or copper faces with laser milled groove patterns. And we endeavor to make these CNC milled putters as customizable as possible within the confines of a pre-milled head. More shapes are in development - check back soon!
