The Boyd was designed for Patrick Boyd of Boyd Blade & Ferrule (BB&F) - our collaborator on our aluminum ferrule products. This shape was made rather big and boxy with bold square lines, yet with a short flow neck positioned well toward the heel to give the putter a strong amount of toe flow. However, like all our shapes, this head can be outfitted with any style of neck or amount of toe flow, from face balanced to a full hang.
